Hello !!
Nice to see you here! You found my second blog, it’s about heel restoration. Enjoy reading and feel free to comment bellow.
The summer months are over and autumn is arriving. A moment of the year that I always enjoy immensely. Not necessarily the rain and lower temperatures... but the splendor of colors in nature that lights up even more beautifully when the sun shines! Secretly, I often think back to the wonderful days of my holiday in September and long for the warmth, maybe you recognize that!
The autumn months are also a period for me when I take care of my summer shoes. The sandals are put away and the boots come out more. From the requests from customers to also take care of their high heels, I have a small suspicion that I am not alone in this thought.
The requests came in within a week! This is how the first week of October started for me with trips to the post office. So there is work to be done for me, wonderful! After all, this is what I like to do most in my spare hours, working with the most beautiful shoes and making them look like new again.
As you may have seen before on my site, I mainly focus on Louboutin. This time there is another beautiful brand among the assignments, namely Valentino Garavani. For me, that was a good reason to shop again at my favorite brand for maintenance and care products. While waiting for the right color paint... I started reconstructing the tip of the sole on the Valentino's. A job that requires precision and patience. While the new sole was curing, I paid attention to the leather condition and, where necessary, gave it a touch-up to repair scratches and worn parts.
Then I started working on the Louboutin heels. Most requests concerned sole restoration, a job that you can easily do at the same time. So... time for the sander! Don't be alarmed, fortunately not all soles have to be sanded bare at the same time. Although the soles always seem very damaged after sanding, they improve very quickly once the first layer of paint is applied again. Where necessary, the sole is not only painted on request, but also filled again to make it as good as new afterwards. Whatever the customer's wishes, the result may be impressive.
The customers receive an update from me on progress in the meantime. Some photos from the past few days can be seen below this blog. Today new materials arrived so I can continue with the restoration. On to a great result and satisfied customers!
