One of the best times of the year is the summer holidays if you ask me! The weather is usually warm and sunny, the perfect conditions to wear high heels or sandals under a loose summer dress.

I actually always work during the summer months so that my colleagues with children can go away during the school holidays. That has one very big advantage, by the time they have to go back to school, I have a quiet holiday without whining children! In September the weather around the Mediterranean is still particularly good. Really something to look forward to during the summer months! The time has now come, my holiday is also starting.

Traditionally I pack my suitcase a day in advance. That gives me the least stress about forgetting things, and what doesn't fit in is not important either.
The first thing I always put in my suitcase is a nice pair of heels. I build the rest around it. Let's go through the details: I travel light, it saves enormous waiting times at the airport.

I also brought a lovely pair of heels with me this holiday, the photos are shown in this blog. I never wear them on my travel day, I don't find that comfortable when flying. But... as soon as I get to my hotel, I take off the comfortable shoes and put on the heels. This summer break I brought my Christian Louboutin Piou Piou heels with me.
